It took about 6 hours of driving
Dad did the driving:
Katrien took a couple of naps... whew!
Kiera basically took a HUGE nap and slept almost the whole way (bigger WHEW)!
April was in charge of entertaining Katrien!
The trip there was pretty long, but we only had to stop once, which was an accomplishment. Oh, I think Kenny took a nap almost the whole way there too! :) Didn't get a picture of that though.
Johnny Rockets was our dinner of choice that night! Yum!
April was impressed with the straw dispensers! :)
The next day was a jam-packed day of sightseeing and walking! I was grateful to be "eco-friendly" and walk, as well as use public transportation.
I love this pic because Katrien wanted to hold Uncle Kenny's hand as we went along!

This was on of the few monuments we got to see inside of.

(one of my favorites because of the way they captured the sacrifice so many men gave)
The police officer let the girls pet the horse while we all took a break from walking.
Grandpa took a turn pushing Katrien.

In this picture, if you look closely, is a nun pushing a stroller... kind of an oxymoron, if you will...haha!
Uncle Kenny did a great job pushing Katrien around so she would stay asleep.
Hard Rock Cafe was our lunch stop.
We are sitting in front of a stained glass window of Elvis on his throne of Rock and Roll!
