Summer Fun

We have so enjoyed it being summer and being able to play outside and take part in all those summer activities! One of the things we enjoy is going in "Grandma's" pool!

Katrien usually has a swimsuit on, but sometimes it is easier to just put her in without one!

My (Kim's) parents live right down the road and we are often over there eating dinner or hanging out with Grandma and Papa. Katrien even knows which way to walk to get there! (She took Mike's hand one day and pretty much led him there all by herself!)

On the nice nights we hang out on the porch!

Mike is fanning himself... he isn't used to the humidity yet! :)

One other thing we have done a couple of times is go to camp! Great-grandma and Grandpa Bensink have a site at a local campground and it is fun to go there and make smores. Katrien likes playing with her cousin Derrick who is just a little bit older than her.

And eating ice cream is always a summer treat!All in all we have had a great summer... and there is still more to come! :)

Hi Blogging World

We are being introduced into the world of blogging. Previously we have been "myspacers" but we realize that this is a much better way of keeping our friends and family updated on our family's happenings, as many of them are far away. We will do our best to keep our page updated for ya!
